New Pastor Eirian
Welcome to our new pastor, Eirian Davies. Eirian starts in our church in July 2022. We’re looking forward to welcoming him and his, Portia, and their three children.
Eirian grew up in Bridgend with his Christian parents and his two older brothers. At the age of 13, he was persuaded that the good news about Jesus was true and he became a Christian. He has been married to Portia since 2014. Portia is a full-time mum to their three children; twin boys and a girl. Many from the community meet for a chat and a coffee or tea at 10:00 on Wednesdays. We share our stories, jokes, and gain connection and friendships with many in the community.
...... Home Groups
We have 2 home groups which meet on Tues and Wed evenings (7:30pm, 2nd and 4th Wed of each month). They enable us to support each other, prayer together, look at the Bible and grow in faith. Ask in church for the venue.
..... The Bible at home
You can watch our Sunday Services on You Tube, and listen to sermons on our website. So, go on, make a cuppa and open your Bible and have it explained to you.
The Sunday service lasts from 11:00 to 12:15. There is usually a children's slot, some lovely music, and a clear Bible message, accessible to all. On occasions there are solos, plays, video clips about the Christian faith. During the sermon the children have their own club where they draw, do craft and listen to dramatic Bible stories. It ends with communion.
